If you're looking for top-of-the-range professional style, then the Epic Ceramic Matte watch band is what you've been looking for! The matte-black look is highly sought after in luxury items like high-end sports cars, and we're pleased to be the first to bring this to an Apple Watch band. With a sleek link design in combination with high-gloss and matte black ceramic, this band is an eye-catcher and sure to generate lots of compliments!

Note: Matte black has that unique look because of the way it absorbs/reflects light. As a result, scratches will stand out more on a matte surface than on a glossy one. Scratches to this band are considered normal wear & tear and not covered under our warranty. Ceramic matte bands should be treated like fine jewelry and avoid contact with hard surfaces or materials.

Epic Watch Bands are compatible with all versions Apple Watch, including Series 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1.

Watch Band Sizing

The Ceramic Matte watch band will best fit a wrist size between 130mm to 210mm. If you need this band to fit larger wrists, you can buy additional links.

We provide the tools and instructions on how to adjust this band yourself. Many of our customers happily adjust the band themselves. However, if you are not comfortable doing this yourself, you can take it to your local jeweler (anywhere that can change a watch battery). Alternatively, we also offer a service to adjust this watch band to fit your wrist.

    Epic Watch Ceramic Matte

This was a good experience. The watch is super nice to wear, looks great, and feels good. I also like the fact that you can size it perfectly and then put on the watch fast. Thanks.

May Be The Best Watch Band of All Time from Epic

The Matte Black Ceramic Watch Band from Epic Watch Bands has come up with a sure fire winner. Along with the Fusion Bands made of Silver or Black Stainess Steel and Wood, these bands are quite possibly the most beautiful bands for the Apple Watch made to date—even better that anything than even Apple has made for sale. This all-ceramic band is, as Epic Watch Bands warns us when we take it out of the box, is like a piece of fine jewelry and should be treated as such. The matte links are beautiful but must be treated like all fine jewelry is treated—with love, care and kindness. That may seem a little overblown about a watch band that sells for $80.00 but it’s true. Ceramic watch bands just like watch cases are harder than stainless steel but great care must still be taken when wearing anything made of ceramic regardless of its strength. The contrast between the highly polished outer portion of the links to the unpolished middle links is what makes this band so remarkably beautiful. It’s almost like two different materials were used in the the making of these bands but the only the difference is how the ceramic is polished and coated. Another point I need to make is about the links themselves. When sizing the links, they are put together using the spring-pins making the addition or removal of links very easy to accomplish. Just be careful that the spring in the pin does not do the ‘Bugs Bunny” hop out of the link so far you can’t find it again. The hardest part for you, the new owner of this band, is taking it off to wear other bands. I own 22 different bands for my Apple Watch Series 5. Other than the silver Stainless Steel Milinnese band that came with the Silver Stainless Steel Apple Watch Series 3, the first band I purchased was the Epic Silicone Band in Moss (Green) that sadly is no longer made. I still have and wear that band from time to time. But with so many bands now, I have to begin to decide which bands are “out of date” so to speak. There are now about seven (7) bands that I believe are “must be worn” on a rotation basis. Believe it or not, of the seven bands, only two (2) are from Apple and four (4) are from Epic Watch Bands. That really says a lot for a non-OEM watch band maker. And it has nothing to do with the price of the band but the quality of the band purchased. The Apple SS Link band at $449 is a keeper simply because of its beauty and uniqueness of its manufacture and the Leather Band at $149 for its quality of the leather. The one other band not from either is the Single Tour leather deployment band at $649 from Hermès. At that price, it has to be a keeper. No, not really, but Hermès leather is extremely beautiful and their deployment bands are the best in the world. The only thing missing is the Hermès watch face. Other than that, I really have an Hermès Edition Apple Watch. LOL The three remaining bands are from guess who? Yes, Epic Watch Bands. The Wood Band in Red and Black, the Fusion Band in Silver Stainless Steel and Wood, and now the Matte Black Ceramic Band. Don’t get me wrong, I own quite a few other Epic Bands, but these three are the true keepers, and seven are enough to rotate throughout a 12-month period. MAYBE one more for good luck—Epic’s all ceramic band in White is also a great band that I still wear will be added to the rotation list. I can’t not wear it. So, it’s eight bands in the rotation. I once had a notion that black watch bands that have an adapter that is black would never go well on a silver stainless steel watch. Well, I was wrong. The Matte Black Watch Band has a black adapter and when on the watch with a black watch face, the very small amount of silver stainless steel around the watch is almost unnoticeable. In fact, when I don’t think about it, it’s not even an issue. So, for me, I will continue to purchase special black watch bands that I would have otherwise not purchased only a month ago. If you have that same problem, you might try purchasing one. You just might be surprised. Something else that must be said regarding all Epic Bands. It’s not put on the market for sale unless and until the manufacture of the band is perfect. If there is any flaw found, it goes back until it’s right and when it’s so, it is then introduced to the public. When that time has come, you can bet your paycheck that the band is all that Epic says it is. Period! Finally, Epic did one final thing with the Matte Black Watch Band that put the icing on the cake. The underside of the band is totally polished to protect the band from sweat, salt and other skin impurities that otherwise might have damaged the matte back portion of the band. A wise course of action to say the least. Epic has done absolutely everything there was to do with this band and I am so glad they did. I have to congratulate them for making it. Another feather in their cap!
