How to install your new Braided Nylon watch band

This video will show you how to install your new watch band:

As shown in the video, to ensure the best fit, remember to put the band on "tight" around your wrist. Then open the clasp and slowly increase the band size until it fits comfortably on your wrist.

Metal piece should be on the bottom of the watch

Important: Please remember to attach the band to your watch, with the metal middle piece on the under-side of the watch. When the adapter is properly inserted into the groove you should hear a soft click as the watch locks onto the band. If you put it the wrong way around or the band does not "click" in, the band is probably not attached correctly and your watch may fall off!

We recommend you double-check that the band is correctly installed before wearing it.

How to clean your Braided Nylon watch band

All watch bands will get dirty over time. Dust, food, sweat, lotions and more can affect the look of your watch band. How often a band needs to be cleaned will depend on your situation, but we recommend cleaning as necessary but at least once every 2 weeks.

For this watch band:

  • Spot clean by wipe the band clean with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth. If necessary, lightly dampen the cloth with fresh water. If you used a damp cloth to clean, let the band air dry thoroughly.
  • If the band requires deeper cleaning, you can hand wash (throw in the sink with warm water and a few drops of shampoo) or machine wash (use cold water and be careful not avoid denting or scratching the stainless steel finish).
  • Do not try to accelerate the drying process with heat, as that may distort the nylon weave.

For additional information, read out general watch band cleaning guide.

What is normal Wear & Tear

Due to the use of elastic nylon, the band will naturally stretch over time. This is not a defect, and affects all bands of this type. The Epic version of this design includes the "sizing" clasp to overcome this - use the clasp to ensure the band remains correctly sized to fit your wrist.

Depending on the frequency and angle that the band stretches (when you put it on/off) some strands may be pulled out of shape over time. This is normal wear and tear (like how any textile piece of clothing will change shape over time).
